Blistful
One list, tags for everything: the to-do app I always wanted

I’m a big fan of to-do lists. I organise my whole life with them, so at some point I wanted to make my own.
Most to-do apps make you file things before you can do them: projects, folders, areas, nested lists. Blistful’s idea was to throw all of that away. Every task lives in one long list, and tags do all the organising. Pick a tag and the list filters to just that; star a tag and it becomes a permanent view. No projects, no hierarchy, nothing to navigate. Just tasks and tags.
I designed it end to end, from the name and the brand (“Do your thing”) through a full design system of tokens, components and type, to onboarding, every screen and the App Store listing.
It never made it to launch. Other projects took the time it needed, and it’s been sitting on the shelf ever since. But the thinking, the experience and the brand all came together here, and it’s still some of the product work I’m proudest of.
